Whether it's minigames or animations that appear when certain keywords are searched, Google has a long history of adding surprise eggs to its search engine. And now a new one has been added to this surprise egg list.

The company lets you play a mini-game on the search page when you search for the "Katamari" game series that debuted on PlayStation 2. Thanks to the game, it is possible to turn everything on the page into a virtual ball.

Type "Katamari" in the search bar to get started. A Katamari ball will appear on the right side of your screen. Click this ball. Then on your desktop or laptop computer, you can use your keyboard's arrow keys to move the ball and "sweep" the search results. On mobile devices, you can play the game with your finger.

The surprise egg was probably made for the remastered re-release of We Love Katamari earlier this month. First released on PlayStation 2 in 2005, the game returned as We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie. The game is available for sale on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Steam platforms.

The Katamari series is a series of puzzle-action games developed by Bandai Namco where you play as the main character, the "Prince of All Cosmos". In this surreal series, you are tasked with rolling a ball of random things like cats, cars and more. These balls replace the stars in the sky that were destroyed by your father, The King of the Cosmos.
