Head of Israel’s EMS service describes horror of seeing babies slaughtered by Hamas

The head of Israel’s volunteer EMS squad described the unimaginable horrors he saw in the aftermath of Hamas’ vicious attack on Israel — including finding a baby in an oven — as the Israel Defense Forces ramped up its ground operations in Gaza.

Eli Beer, founder and president of United Hatzalah, described to a crowd at the Republican Jewish Coalition this week how he witnessed “with his own eyes” how Hamas soldiers had brutally murdered a mother in front of her children during the terrorist group’s initial rampage on Oct. 7.

The soldiers sliced open the stomach of a pregnant mother, “took out the baby, and stabbed the little tiny baby in front of her and then shot her in front of her family,” he said.

The militants then proceeded to kill the rest of the family living in the small kibbutz.

In a barbaric scene, Beer said his organization had even witnessed babies that had been placed in ovens.

“We saw a little baby in an oven,” Beer said. “These bastards put these babies in an oven and put on the oven. We found the kid a few hours later.”

“These are not regular enemies, these are not regular situations,” Beer added. “I saw little kids who were beheaded. We didn’t know which head belonged to which kid.”

In the aftermath, Beer said he was inconsolable for five days.

“Seeing little children, some of them had grandparents who were Holocaust survivors — and they were murdered in a holocaust in Israel in 2023,” he said.

More than 1,400 Israelis have been killed, most of them civilians, during Hamas’ Oct. 7 unprecedented surprise attack that sparked the current war.

Hamas additionally is holding roughly 240 people captive it seized from Israel.
